United In Praise

Our band family met last night with United In Praise.

This is a local choir organization that gives back to the community by helping with non-profit grants.

There were MANY community programs that came out to tell about there needs. 

It proves that our community is in the need of help. 

But it proves there are people in our community that are willing to help. Some of the programs that were heard were about the local food pantries and local woman shelters.

We really hope and pray for us to receive the grant that they are offering. We have so many children that we can reach. Last year our budget met the needs we had but some of the improvements to out MCSC program were not met. This is our main goal this year as the Mustang Music Association,

BUT it also lets us know that next year we need to do some can food drives and other fundraisers that help others in our community. If we are to ask our community for support... 

WE must give back to our community.
